DarthHusker's Family Fun Page Presents:
Images of San Jose State Game 2000

sjsu1.jpg (96537 bytes) This is a shot of a packed Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Otherwise known as the Sea of Red.  The temperature topped 106 degrees, but many of the almost 78,000 fans toughed it out until the end.
sjsu2.jpg (67206 bytes) Here is another shot, this time of the south endzone.  The band was on the field performing pre-game activities.
sjsu3.jpg (63731 bytes) This shot is more to the east, where more red-clad maniacs await the big Husker team entrance called the Tunnel Walk.
sjsu4.jpg (77999 bytes) Turning around, I shot my fellow Husker freaks in the north stands.  They arrive early and in red.  Yes, it is a religion here.
sjsu5.jpg (80148 bytes) Another shot of the crowd and skybox structure.   There is no better atmosphere on game days than Memorial Stadium.
sjsu6.jpg (87542 bytes) Here is a shot of the Huskers running out onto the field.  I had a slight camera problem (switched lenses just as they were coming out) which missed the initial group of athletes.  You get the idea, though.
